Rio Pacuare, one of
Central America’s premier river adventures, has a near-perfect mix
of tropical forest beauty, superb whitewater, and exotic birds and
animals. Within its densely vegetated canyon gorges, rafters may see
jaguars, ocelots, monkeys, sloths, and a wide array of colorful
birds, Pacuare’s mostly Class III whitewaters, although exciting,
are humane enough to allow guests sufficient time to fully enjoy the
spectacular jungle adventure.
In
addition to popular one-day trips on the Tres Equis section of the
Rio Pacuare, outfitters offer two- and three-day trips with
overnight camping in the jungle.
