Outfitters on the lower Deschutes offer Very popular single-day whitewater trips as well as multiday float trips.
The one-day rafting trip is an enjoyable 13 mile (20 km) family-oriented adventure between Harpham Flat and Sherars Falls. Officially known as segment II, this popular whitewater stretch contains the lively splashes of nearly a dozen Class III+ rapids including Wapinitia, Box Car, Oar Springs, upper and lower Elevator, and Osborne.
