The picturesque Hoh River, flowing westward from Olympic National Park to the scenic Pacific coastline, provides an extraordinary opportunity to float quietly through a portion of the famous moss- and fern-covered Olympic peninsula rain forest where rainfalls often exceed 120 inches.
The first half of the Hoh trip meanders through a wide valley with breathtaking views of snowcapped Mount Olympus, the parks highest peak. This section is home to bald eagles, river otter, Roosevelt elk, and other wildlife.
The second half of the float trip traverses the lush forests of Oxbow Canyon. Here, large coniferous and deciduous trees loom over the river, bringing shade and quiet time for relaxation. Morning and afternoon trips can be enjoyed by guests of all ages.
